Description:
Wound Foam Dressing laminated with PU film for elbow use or for trachea cannula use self-adhesive
Structure:
The foam dressing is made of medical polyurethane which contains CMC, processed by newest foam technology.
Characteristics:
1.It is a new high-end polymer material, made by the 3D foaming of medical polyurethane which contains CMC;
2.It can absorbs exudation massively in fast speed and locks it, keeping a moist environment and preventing the surrounding normal skin maceration;
3.It will be more docile after absorbing the exudation and expanding inward; Foam pad, which is soft and can keep the local wound moist, evenly disperses the pressure ;
4.Do not adhesion to the wound, which avoids the replacement making mechanical damage once again ;
5.Good absorbency even under the pressure bandage;
6.Biologic semi-permeable PU film covering the surface to prevent bacteria and foreign matter outside completely while the wound exchange gases with the atmosphere freely.
Applications: All kinds of moderate to high exudation wounds 1.Chronic treatment of exudative wounds: Ulcers of arteries and veins
in lower limb; Each phase of pressure ulcers; Diabetic ulcers; 2.The treatment of acute wounds: Second-degree burns, skin donor sites, skin abrasions, postoperative wounds etc.
How to use:
1.Before using foam dressing, clean the wound with normal saline, dry the surrounding skin tenderly;
2.Foam dressing(without glue) must be used together with adhesive dressing;
3.Replacement time depends mainly on the quantity of exudation and absorbing extent; please replace a new one when the exudation is 2cm approaching the edge of dressing;
4.When the exudation becomes less, it is suggested to decrease the frequency of changing wound dressing or to stop using the dressing and change another kind of dressing; One piece can stay no longer than 7 days;
5. Foam dressing can be used together with alginate wound dressing or silver ion wound dressing so that the autolytic necrotic tissue can debride itself, avoiding maceration to the skin.
Cautions:
Not applicable for dry wound surface except the prevention of pressure ulcers.
